Available in the long term? – Data repositories and research data: sustainability, security, and innovation

We will hold the HUN-REN Data Repository Platform’s annual conference on October 8, 2026.

The Data Repository Platform (ARP) is a repository infrastructure service that supports the continuous and long-term research data management of the entire research network, as well as the Hungarian higher education.

„The primary aim of the conference is to provide a forum to discuss the long-term, secure sustainability of data repositories and research data, and to present the latest scientific challenges, trends, technological opportunities, and developments. It also aims to facilitate networking, community building, and knowledge sharing among funders, operators, researchers, data stewards, and research infrastructure developers.”

Applications to present at the conference require a 300–500 word abstract. Submission Deadline: August 10, 2026
